在留資格を申請した後、様々な事情により申請の取り下げが必要になる場合があります。
その際は、申請取下書を提出することにより申請を取り下げることができます。
1. 申請取下書の書式について
申請取下書は任意の書式でも作成可能ですが、出入国在留管理庁所定の「申請取下書」を使用すると、記入漏れなどのミスを防ぐことができます。
2. 申請取下書の提出方法
申請取下書には、申請人本人の署名が必要です。
よって、代理人や申請取次者が提出する場合は、申請人本人の署名を受けた上で提出する必要があります。
また、取下げの理由によっては、添付書類もあわせて提出します。
3. 申請取下げ後の注意点
申請取下書を提出すると、入管にて取下げ処理が行われますが、提出した申請書類の返還はありません。
取下書の写し（控え）に受付印を押印してくれる入管もあるようですが、押印してもらえない入管もあります。
入管の管轄によって対応が異なるため、事前に提出先の入管へ確認することをおすすめします。
