Work visa (Intra-company Transferee)that I recently applied for for a Taiwanese employee at our client company , which is a TSMC supplier company in Taiwan. has been approved.

This time, the support provided was for the application for certification of residence status for an "intra-company transferee" visa in relation to a transfer from the Taiwan headquarters to the Japanese branch.

After applying, the examination proceeded smoothly, and the employee's status of residence was successfully approved .

Compared to the "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" visa, the "intra-company transferee" visa does not require a strong relationship between the work to be performed in Japan and the applicant's previous academic background or work experience, but it is important to provide evidence of the capital relationship between the parent company and the subsidiary company.

In addition, the difference between this status and the "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" status is that the activity in Japan is assumed to be for a certain period of transfer (renewable) and that the activity is only permitted at certain business establishments.
